The Worcester Collegium, Worcester’s newest chamber orchestra, is a
non-profit organization dedicated to providing its music program as a
community-wide celebration of quality music. The Collegium is made up of
the leading players in the Worcester area. We strive to feature these
accomplished musicians as well as promote music education through quality
programs to further enrich the cultural community of Worcester County. We
cordially invite you to join us in celebrating our inaugural season at
the historic Mechanics Hall. A youth showcase featuring Collegium Strings
and Collegium Youth in Washburn Hall will precede each of these concerts.
The Worcester Collegium Society
The Collegium Society is
a non-profit auxiliary group whose purpose is to support the orchestra by
their volunteer work and fund-raising. All subscribing members at the
Mezzanine Level and above are invited to become members of the Collegium
Society.
As a member of the
Collegium Society, you have the opportunity to work and learn
‘behind-the-scenes’ with the performers and staff of the Worcester
Collegium as you volunteer in various roles such as ushers, overseeing
information tables or sell recordings. You will meet other people who
share the same love of beautiful music as you plan and hold fundraising
activities.
Annual dues for the
Collegium society are $35.00 for individuals and $50.00 per couple. The
Collegium Society meets four times a year to plan fundraising events. In
addition to being a behind the scenes volunteer, members of the Collegium
Society will be invited guests at the annual Maestro’s Circle
Appreciation Gala in the spring. Please fill in the application form here
